Remember Your Innocence

Let me whisper in your ear

Innocent at birth.
All shiny and new. Ready or not.
Experiencing the entire scope of life.
Every emotion within the spectrum of feeling.

It hasn’t always been easy, in fact it has been tumultuous at times.
Deep Sea diving and Rocky Mountain climbing. We reach the top of the mountain, when we persevere. We find our way back to the surface when we are wallowing in a pit of shadows.

Finding forgiveness and compassion for ourselves along the way.

Becoming brighter and lighter with each lesson learned.

If I could blow you kisses,
to dissolve all the sorrow,
I would.

If I could hold you tight,
to heal all the pain,
I would.

If I could make you see
the magnificence that you are,
I would.
