Creative Christmas Calendar

I fell in love with our house when I first set eyes on the large back yard. It leads to an open dog park, with a view of Nose Hill. I played in the long grass, while waiting for the landlord to arrive.
Crossing the threshold, it already smelled like home. I knew we somehow belonged here. I could see our family creating the space, to make it our own. A floor to ceiling chalk wall in the hall, was icing on the cake.
The grandchildren really enjoy marking it up when they come to visit.
This month, I asked my kids to make a display for the holidays. A simple calendar where we could visually count down the days until Christmas.
This is what they came up with!
